Default Title

This vintage brass trophy-style table lamp features ornate, openwork filigree detailing. No stamps or logos for a company but the brown plastic-insulated SP-2 cord and the rusted central hex nut point to a lamp that is at least 50 to 60 years old. As well, the specific layout of this Leviton stamp, paired with the black plastic multi-position turn knob, firmly places the hardware production between the late 1950s and the mid-1960s. Because parts like sockets were bought in bulk by lamp assembly factories, this strongly corroborates that this Hollywood Regency brass lamp was manufactured and sold during the height of the mid-century modern era.
The harp is original to the lamp. A "12" on the base weight and an "11" on the harp shows the hardware is original to the lamp rather than a mismatched modern replacement.

Approximately 30 inches tall, with a base diameter of 7 inches.

Features a shiny brass finish and includes a lamp harp for attaching a shade.

During the mid-century modern period, the United States was the primary global producer of heavy cast-brass Hollywood Regency home decor.
